Dr. Uusmaa was granted the honor of acquiring her Dentistry diploma from the University of Tartu in 1991.

In the course of her career as a stomatologist, centering on the structures, functions, and diseases of the mouth, she has had extensive experience in governmental and private sectors alike.

Additionally, after finishing seven years of studies at the Dental Clinic Department of the Hospital Foundation at the University of Tartu, Dr. Katrin Uusmaa carried on with the completion of her 2-year Residency at the Tallinn Dental Clinic.

As a young doctor and during the newly independent Republic of Estonia at the beginning of ninety’s, Dr. Uusmaa put time and effort for two consecutive years into children’s dentistry services as a dedicated and committed orthodontist and stomatologist.

Moreover, throughout 1994 and up until 1997, Dr. Katrin Uusmaa obtained additional experience in privately-held entities. In the year of 1998, she decided to establish her own private practice and incorporated it into what is now known as OÜ Katrin Uusmaa Hambaravi.

Under the Doctor’s Oath and Ethics commitment, Dr. Uusmaa’s aim truly is to preserve and promote public health, prevent diseases, treat the sick, and alleviate their suffering. She remains as one of the renowned dentists working without self-interest and acting accordingly to her work ethic in treating patients, willing to put work in abnormal hours, and attending to all medical emergencies with dedication and high moral standards.

As a result and since 2012, Dr. Katrin Uusmaa has focused on preserving and promoting a culture of health by partnering up with the Defence Forces of the Republic of Estonia, bringing solid dental solutions to the Health Centre of the military complex on an ongoing and distinguished collaboration.

In the course of seven years, Dr. Uusmaa treated a myriad of brave patients at the honorable Ämari Air Base, offering her dental services expertise and solemn dedication to the health of the Republic of Estonia Defence Forces with utmost pride and gratitude.
