Dr. Uusmaa was granted the honor of acquiring her Dentistry diploma from the University of Tartu in 1991.

In the course of her career as a dentist, centering on the structures, functions, and diseases of the oral cavity, she has gained extensive experience across various sectors of healthcare, ensuring modern and effective treatment for every patient.

Additionally, after finishing seven years of studies at the Dental Clinic Department of the Hospital Foundation at the University of Tartu, Dr. Katrin Uusmaa carried on with the completion of her 2-year Residency at the Tallinn Dental Clinic.

As a young doctor during the beginning of the 1990s, Dr. Uusmaa dedicated two consecutive years to pediatric dental services as a committed dentist providing teeth straightening and comprehensive oral care for the next generation.

Moreover, throughout 1994 and up until 1997, Dr. Katrin Uusmaa obtained additional experience in privately-held entities across Estonia.

In the year of 1998, she decided to establish her own private practice and incorporated it into what is now known as OÜ Katrin Uusmaa Hambaravi.

Under the Doctor’s Oath and Ethics commitment, Dr. Uusmaa’s aim truly is to preserve and promote public health, prevent diseases, treat the sick, and alleviate their suffering. She remains one of the renowned dentists working without self-interest and acting according to her work ethic in treating patients, willing to put in abnormal hours, and attending to all medical emergencies with dedication and high moral standards.

Throughout her career and especially since 2012, Dr. Katrin Uusmaa has remained steadfast in her dedication to preserving and promoting a culture of wellness. She focuses on providing high-level dental solutions to diverse patient groups, ensuring that quality care remains accessible to those who need it most.
